Biography

Eva Castro has a wealth of teaching experiences, having taught at Architectural Association from 2003 to 2008 and having held visiting professorships at several institutions including Tsinghua University and University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining SUTD, she was also the Director of the Landscape Urbanism Master Program for Architectural Association in London from 2005 to 2012. Castro is currently also an Honorary Professor at Xi’an University of Technology in China.

Besides her academic achievements, Castro is an accomplished architect who has many accolades under her belt.  She is the founding partner of GroundLab, an international practice of Landscape | Urbanisim in London; and a co-founding principal of Plasma Studio, a progressive architecture and design practice with offices in London, Beijing and Northern Italy. Besides, her work has also been widely published and exhibited.
