Computational design is essentially a collection of instructions, rules, and numbers. Understanding this principle and communicating this clearly to clients is key to embracing this new paradigm. How would you quantify your client’s concerns and requirements? How would you recommend one solution amongst 100,000 options? This workshop touches on methods to engaging your clients and stakeholders to extract the required information in order to arrive at proper design concepts that can be codified into an algorithm at a later stage.
- Understand fundamentals of thinking computationally in quantities
- Explore stakeholder-engagement and translate into computational concepts
- Learn how to make recommendations based on evaluation
