Abstract

Christina Thean (Park + Associates) and Ong Ker-Shing (Lekker) are among the youngest of Singapore’s significant architects. In recent years, they have contributed unique work to the local environment—particularly in small- to mid-scaled buildings and interiors that are formally and materially experimental. They are both, also, among very few younger female architects in Singapore to have been widely recognized for the quality of their work. For this conversation, Christina and Ker-Shing will present recent work from their practices, and discuss their current directions for exploration and development.
