Foreign Policy is a multi-disciplinary design office that have been increasingly active in what non-architects call “spatial design.” Through a series of internationally acclaimed projects, they have created interiors in which enclosure, materials, graphics, and furniture join to create a cohesive “brand.” This brand embodies a kind of personality, an affective atmosphere that shapes the experience of users, and differentiates their clients from competitors.

At SUTD, Arthur Chin and Yah-Leng Yu will show recent examples of this approach, including Gallery & Co at the National Gallery, Park Avenue Deli, and Working Capital.
