The Selexyz Dominican Church was built and consecrated in the city of Maastricht, Netherlands in 1294 and was redeveloped into a bookstore by Merkx + Girod in 2007. The redevelopment works retained the entire church facade (known as facadism) while inserting several floors and a basement into the building. Before redevelopment it also served as a storage facility and an exhibition space, but has now become a popular tourist spot in the city.
