F1963 was built in the city of Busan, South Korea in 1963 as a steel factory. It was later redeveloped in 2016 by Byungsoo Choo to become a cultural space with exhibition galleries, a cafe and bookstore. The redevelopment works retained the shape of the building but altered the material and interior within it. F1963 today is recognized as a distinguished venue and has held important events like the Busan Biennale.
