CONCEPT FOR THE CONVERSION OF BREMEN GRANARY
The Granary was to become a public field and a key attractor for an urban revitalization. The aim is to initiate a sustainable development of the entire area, to connect isolated urban islands around and to reposition the Bremen Granary with the formulation of an attractive program. The extreme vertical and horizontal depth of the Granary offers 8 programs potential neighborhoods and transitions. The vertical extensions stretch the ground area upwards, weaving the programs. Together they form a conglomerate: each working for itself, but benefiting from each other.
