SUTD Master of Architecture Guest Lecture by Executive Director of Hamzah & Yeang (Ken Yeang) on 19th August 2022.

Named as ‘one of the 50 people who could save the Planet’, Dr. Ken Yeang is an architect and ecologist, known for his signature hyper-green architecture, a field he pioneered since 1971. His work received numerous awards such as Aga Khan Award, Prince Claus Award (Netherlands), LiangSiCheng International Award (China), Merdeka Award (Government of Malaysia), Malaysian Institute of Architects Gold Medal and others recognizing his work that performs beyond green-rating systems (LEED and others). His projects include DiGi Data Centre, Suasana Putrajaya, Genome Research Building (Hong Kong), National Library (Singapore), Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital Extension (UK). He has authored over 12 books on the principles of ecological and bioclimatic architecture.
