Abstract
How do architects form productive multi-disciplinary relationships? Increasingly, practitioners are responsible for the management of large and diverse teams, with multiple interests and sources of expertise to be heard and administered. The skill with which these relationships are managed can contribute greatly to a successful outcome—or the opposite. For this session, we will ask: which are the methodologies that work? What do we learn from each other? Does collaboration require a personal affinity? And when does working together become a burden?
At SUTD, design luminaries (and long-time collaborators) Dr. Hossein Rezai-Jorabi and Sonny Chan will discuss working together on projects such as the Tokiomarine Tower and their National Gallery competition entry.
