Welcome to the Design for Climate and Comfort Lab, part of the Architecture and Sustainable Design School at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. We work to understand and design for improved comfort in the built environment.

Our goal is to improve the comfort and energy efficiency of buildings and urban areas through smart, low-energy design practices. To this end, we produce high-quality fundamental research and undertake innovative design projects.

The Design for Climate and Comfort lab is seeking researchers and PhD students for projects on daylighting, thermal performance, occupant behavioural prediction, and post-occupancy building evaluations. Interested parties should contact Alstan Jakubiec to discuss the positions in more detail. Further details can be found on the hiring page.
